Former Employee - Server says

"So much potential to make money and be great, but was the furthest thing from. Mismanaged. Contentious. An HR nightmare (if HR genuinely cared, which it didn’t seem to)."

Server (Former Employee) says

"No company rules followed by manager Director don’t care people are leaving company left and rite no one care People don’t like to work there but they are working that’s the only job they can afford ."

Server (Former Employee) says

"I can not state names but I will warn you all of two very nasty and unclean servers at this location and management knows all about it. This company does not care about the health and welfare of the customers or they would remove these two disease-ridden servers to protect the healthy environment you should be able to count on when dining out with your friends and family."

Server (Former Employee) says

"This company is an absolute joke. They claim to care for their employees but all they care about is upper management. As long as upper management gets their bonuses every year, they are happy."

Key Holder (Former Employee) says

"From upper management to lower and everything in between it’s a get yours kinda place . No real care for guests or employees. The organization has no real goals too much change and no motivation to be great . No special benefits or perks."

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Not to be trusted the management used a race card to move on others and throw them under the bus. There is no loyalty here and no support from upper management"

Assistant Culinary Manager (Former Employee) says

"Trash management and unorganized. Probably the worst kitchen I've ever worked for. Instead of promoting from within, they bring in outside people from different stores that don't have the same rapport or dont click with the crew that was previously established."

Hostess (Former Employee) says

"I worked at Bonefish Grill in Marlton NJ in 2016. It was literally the worst working experience of my entire life. The managers are extremely rude and disrespectful. Along with the long-term employees. I cried on multiple occassions. NEVER WORK HERE"

Server (Current Employee) says

"The staff and management are very cliche. If one certain bartender doesn’t like you, you are toast. I overheard her and a member of management talking about me,, when confronted, they got rid of me. The bartenders are bullies and allowed to frankly supported to continue. Worst place to work ever!"

Server (Former Employee) says

"Managing partner is a terror and the worst kind of person. He has everyone so scared of him and turnover rate is the worst I have ever seen. Do NOT recommend working there"

Server (Former Employee) says

"Rude customers, rude Managment , I’m only really writing this review because indeed won’t let me continue without it. But definitely my least favorite restaurant to work at by far ."

Dishwasher/Food Prep (Former Employee) says

"I never ate at bonefish Grill until I started working there. The food is very expensive and they give you little portion of food. The mangers treat each employee different instead of the same. The have favoritism in some of their employees. A couple of the mangers are racist and say's racist words. They are very disrespectful, they argue and cuss at their employees."

Hostess (Former Employee) says

"DO NOT WORK HERE. Worst place you could possibly work. HORRIBLE management staff. There is no room for growth. They work you like a dog and you don't get enough pay for it. The company as a whole does not care about you. At the Longwood location, the Manager is not fit to be running a restaurant. Favoritism, pettiness, and being treated poorly are just a few of the treatments that go on at Bonefish Grill in Longwood. Not a clean restaurant, poorly staffed and managed, your better off working in any other food industry but this one. More than half of the staff at Bonefish Grill has left simply Because of how terrible the manager is."

Partner, Food Service Manager (Former Employee) says

"This company USED to be good. Now it's trying to keep afloat by sucking money from bonuses and several other crafty tricks. Checkout the turnover %!!!"

Culinary Manager (Former Employee) says

"If you ever leave, forget about getting your salaried hours. They will just decide not to pay you. Worked there 8 years and was treated like garbage. My wife was also unpaid as a salaried Manager. Bonefish put our family in a bind. Be warned!!!"

Server (Former Employee) says

"I got bullied by the kitchen and had threats of harm. I went to the managers office and she was recording me in the office for her family members to see. I have have been diagnosed with PTSD by a licensed doctor and still seek treatment 6 months after. Thank you.NothingTerrible place for employment."

Server (Former Employee) says

"Cons: Unprofessional and unorganized. Only 3-4 table sections. Unless you're a manager favorite. They only allow 1 server to take private dining parties and refuse to split with other servers. Extreme turnover rates in management and boh/foh staff. No clear leadership. Tips often paid next day due to errors. Pro: Great guests & Great Food."

Server (Former Employee) says

"Very poor management, awful customer base.... stressful and no support from management. You could get fired over a single complaint and they don’t coach you on getting better they just get rid of you. Coworkers are nasty and unhelpful. Kitchen is horrible and you will get blamed for food taking too long to come out."

Bartender, Server and Trainer (Former Employee) says

"A typical day at work for a server involved waiting over an hour to get your first table, but being forced to do hourly position work while you waited (with no compensation), you also had roughly an hour and a half's worth of hourly position type work after you stopped receiving tables. I am a better server and got promoted to bartender during my time there, but that happened before the Bonefish dynamic shifted. The culture centers around maintaining a positive attitude no matter what is happening. The hardest part of the job is internalizing your thoughts and opinions. The best part of the job is making lasting friendships with your coworkers.half off on food once a day (but you can't eat while you're working)No breaks (even when you work 12 hour shifts), individuality/diversity not encourage"

dishwasher and prep cook (Former Employee) says

"they forced me to quit because it was so bad. the managment was horrible, the staff was over worked and never scheduled more help so the people working were always doing the job of multiple people. Expectations were far too high with little praise or support for your efforts. Moving up was nearly impossible. this is the only job ive ever gotten panic attacks from stress because i was so over worked during my shift. it was a joke and im glad to be gone. dont work here."

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Bonefish somewhere else might be great but bonefish in Little Rock is horrible, the GM there is like a little Hilter! Has a very smart mouth and it's his way or no way, training was poorly done and what does on in there is sad."

Elizabeth Miller says

"Today we went to the Bonefish on Commercial Way in Brooksville. As usual my husband's service dog was with us because he goes no where without him. We sat outside in 90 degree weather and not a soul out there besides us. We requested a dish of water. The waitress came out and informed us that we had to take the dog off premises to drink the water. Are you kidding me? We had a different problem with them a few years ago. They tried to seat us at a corner table and there was no place for the dog to go. We left the restaurant and contacted the regional manager. About a week later we received a gift basket for the dog and $200 in gift certificates begging us to come back. We did and everything was fine until today. Snickers is a service dog and we were outside with no one else around. It was almost 2 so the lunch crowd was gone - even inside was empty. You have got to be kidding me? First of all he is a service dog wearing a vest, etc. Second there was no one outside. We have been going there for years - but no more!! And I will make sure everyone knows how we were treated there. Most places are very accommodating with service animals - not Bonefish!! Two strikes and you are out. Guess what - ANYONE will take our money!!"
